  1. Yes they still have the CFS as a stock shaft in the S55. It spun like crazy
for me, about 1200rpm too much. I ordered my S55’s today with the C-Taper
    Lite.

  2. Love the videos, but i can never figure out what exactly what Mark says at
the beginning of every video…”Let’s get stuck in”???

  3. “This is the kind of club I want to hit but I trust myself more with the
chunky ones” I thought you carried Mizuno MP-64’s? These are not hard to
    hit, the S55.

  4. Mark, love the S55’s but don’t have the cash to shell out for the brand new
set right now. There’s a practically brand new set of S56’s I can buy for
~$500. It is worth waiting and saving or are they practically the same as
    the S56’s? Thanks!

  5. Very curious as to the shaft in the s55, s56 stock cfs was quite light and
produced a very high ball flight, is ping persisting with the cfs Regards,
Shane, far north windy Queensland Aus.

  6. Hitting Ping s57’s now for my short irons in a combo set with i20’s would
love to replace them for my short irons! Anyone compared the two? Or s55 vs
    anser forged??

  7. Thought I’d add some more info to this, they’re being priced around £90 an
iron so pretty much in line with Mizuno’s recent pm releases and other
“players” clubs on the market. I think Mark missed a trick with his vid but
it’s completely understandable given his consistent striking, these things
are a lot more forgiving than you expect or they look, personally I found
them more forgiving than the MP54 but they have a really strong flight.

  8. I like that idea too. I’ve never seen anyone make a video on those, I
really would like to buy one if someone had a good review

  9. Hello from the great state of North Carolina Mark. Enjoy your videos very
much. Always very useful information and demonstration. We have seen Tiger
Woods and his back problems and how they affect his game. I too, have back
problems and had a recent doctor visit, The doctor stated that he has seen
some patients with major problems with their back associated with golf.
Have you done a video, or do you plan one in the future, with tips on
preventing back injury while playing golf?!

  10. picked up a set of i20’s for winter golf when I’m not playing as much to
get some more enjoyment out of the game. s55’s look great, agreed not a
massive change from the 56. +1 for you to demo the DHY adams vs. the big
3’s driving irons. ++1 Review the SWINGBYTE 2!! cheers,

  11. Mark, they look really good, seem good acoustically too (through the mike).
Looking to finally change from my MP33’s grooves getting more than a bit
worn out now, but as I said on the MP4 test they look favourite, like you
I’m a Mizuno guy really because of the feel and sound. (I play off 2)
Definitely in the market for new irons now but this autumn so many
‘players’ irons coming out, Titliest 714 blades, semi cav’s, AP2’s; S55,
MP54, some new Callaway’s due. Any chance say you and James …..

  12. .. and 1 other could do a mega test of all these ‘players’ irons and run
the numbers, launch angle, peak height, descent angle, dispersion, distance
etc. I know major manufacturers working to similar tolerances so won’t be
huge variables but with three of you hitting, and there will be differences
also with views on how they ‘feel’. On the S55 test you also mentioned ping
bending the lofts, they didn’t used to be a fan of doing this as far as I
remember. I know mizuno will do +or- 2degs….

  13. Mark I love the look of theses irons and was thinking about upgrading.
Could you do a video or just give me a response on what you think about the
S55 vs the AP2’s. They are both in my price range and I would like your
    opinion of both of them.

  14. Mark, I’m a really big fan of your technical /swing videos but this is
unfortunately another of your increasingly tedious ‘can’t be arsed because
these are not quite Mizuno’ product videos. At least do some basic
reasearch on products before you review them. You’ve got lazy and are
bordering on being arrogant and flippant with your reviews, treating
viewers like ‘no clue’ idiots rather than informed golf equipment
enthusiasts. In short, you’ve become a proper ‘Big time Charlie’.
    Boring……

  15. What would you have him say? He liked the flight, the looks, and the feel
and stated such. He says he gets more distance from his (Mizuno) clubs, but
that it comes from having stronger lofts (he and Kevin even joke about it
in their last Crediton vlog). As an “informed golf equipment enthusiast”
you should realize by now that golf is entirely about feel, and that’s why
he ends pretty much every equipment review with “go try them out yourselves
and tell me what you think”.
