  1. On a separate note, as a stocky guy myself, it’s nice to see two pros with
similar build. I’m wondering if you have any vids that address how to work
within our specific body type, rather than do what Ben hogan and tiger and
other tall, thin golfers do. Thanks!?

  2. never heard of the more upright position until I watched J. Furyk’s video
on chipping and now this. Very cool, I will give it a go. Thx.?

  3. Excellent vid. I agree this reminds me of furyk’s video, but we should
remember that this is the way it was done long ago as well. They called it,
as Raymond Floyd calls it, “putting with loft.” Modern pga tour guys are
very often using 60 for everything but this technique is best for those who
    can’t put in 3hrs a day with the 60.

  4. I have tried this technique for a couple of rounds. Works really well. With
this method, I feel really confident standing over the ball even with a
tight lie. Amazing how much touch and feel you have. Works well with a 60
degree wedge. Good height with soft landing.

  5. I like this! You pretty much changed the chipping technique into what a
common putting technique is cause I bend my elbows too like you
demonstrated here. I’ll have to try this next time I’m doing some chipping
practice because the hardest thing I’ve been having a hard time with is
trying to gauge how far my backswing should be in chipping when hitting it
off my back foot. Obviously you should switch clubs based on the distance,
but it’ll be easier to measure when the ball is between your feet

  6. Great video guys. Like all your videos. They are all modern techniques
explained well. We’ve all been getting dud information for way too long.
The worst short game video is anything by Mickelson

  7. I’ve been really struggling with my chipping. The things you touch on that
players try to do, it’s scary how accurate that is for what I try to do
when chipping. Looks like I have some things to work on.
