  1. I will never buy another Ford. The acronym F.O.R.D.(Found On Road Dead or
worse) rings true for me. I previously owned a 2001 Ford Escape and
experienced multiple problems, bad rotors, bad fuel injectors, gear shift
cable snapping, leaving me stranded; had to call for a tow.
coolant/radiator leaks, persistent oil leaks, smoking and danger of
fire(per Ford mechanics), low oil pressure light, check engine sensor
light, etc., high out of my pocket expense and worst of all, misleading
information from Ford Service Auto Shop Mechanics. My coworker purchased a
brand new 2013 Ford Escape and continues to experience multiple problems,
re-affirming, I will never buy another Ford. Escaped from the money pit and
happily averaging 59 MPG in my 2013 Toyota Prius Four Hatchback, no matter
how I drive. Power is available via the electric and gas motor. When I want
a sportier feel, need more power going uphill, pass cars on the freeway or
city streets, I simply push the Power Mode button and my Prius takes off.
Many are surprised as they watch me pass by. In ECO Mode commuting weekdays
from work in grid lock, crawling from a stop and go traffic, I achieve over
70 MPG. Even in lighter traffic, my Prius still manages over 50 MPG. For
short trips at slow speeds on city streets around town, I use EV Mode,
which disengages at speeds over 35 MPH. All the power available in the
Fusion is absolutely useless in grid lock traffic or driving at slow speeds
around town. The Prius is perfect for my needs. When I purchase a hybrid
vehicle, I expect hybrid level fuel efficiency, without a feather light
velvety touch on my gas pedal or fancy hyper-mile driving, as Ford claims
their hybrids should be driven to get 47 MPG. Really!. If that isn’t
achievable, I may as well buy a regular gas motor car. Hence the pending
lawsuits against Ford for misleading consumers. My experience with Toyota
and Honda has been stellar. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about Ford.?

  2. What a great, comprehensive review. (And it’s always fun to see Csaba– I
    miss him at the magazine.?

  3. Does Csaba Csere have dentures? When he smacks between sentences its like
somebody with dentures. The Fusion is such a beautiful car that may be the
best looking ford in decades and I love it but I have to say that the tail
end reminds me of a Kia. It would be nice if they made it more like a
Jaguar or the Tesla Model S.?

  4. I have watched a ton of car reviews. This is far the most informative and
just all around great review. I want more videos with this guy!?

  5. Great review, I just picked up a 2014 about 3 weeks ago. I love the car. If
you are not driving long distance, you can almost drive on batteries. my
work is about 20 miles round trip and i go back and forth on batteries.
Sometimes when I use the AC, the engine starts at the end of the trip. Ford
has great price reductions and rebates. I got a nice deal recently.?

  6. Great review. He’s honest about both the pros and cons. I’m glad he
mentioned the discrepancy with the EPA MPG ratings. Just as Consumer
Reports found, it gets about 38 MPG overall, not 47 MPG. That’s a big
discrepancy, although 38 MPG overall is still excellent.?

  7. Ford is having to revise the fuel economy ratings on six of its new cars,
and not in a good way. They mistakenly overrated the efficiency of their
vehicles. Owners will be compensated for the error. Payments will range
from $125 to $1,050, depending on which vehicle and if it was leased or
purchased. The EPA says fuel economy labels on these cars will change
between 1 and 5 MPG and that will happen within 15 days.

    MPG re-dos:
2014 Ford Fiesta (up to 2 mpg, depending on power train)
    2013-14 Ford C-Max Hybrid (43 to 40), originally claimed 47 mpg
    2013-14 Ford C-Max Energi Plug-In Hybrid (43 to 38)
    2013-14 Ford Fusion Hybrid (47 to 42)
2013-14 Ford Ford Fusion Energi Plug-In Hybrid (43 to 38)
    2013-14 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid (45 to 38)

When I purchase a Hybrid vehicle, I expect Hybrid level fuel efficiency. If
that isn’t achievable, I may as well buy a non-hybrid gas motor car. I
learned my lesson after purchasing a brand new problematic 2001 Ford
Escape. My first and my last Ford. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me
twice, shame on me”. I will never buy another Ford. Can’t trust them. So
happy I’m averaging 59 MPG in my 2013 Toyota Prius Four Hatchback. ?

  8. I had this car as a rental for 18 days. I was sure I wouldn’t like it (I’m
a BMW guy)… I liked it a lot, 430 miles later, it took 10 gallons of gas,
    and it drove fine.?

  9. My dad wanted one of these, Ford and Hyundai is coming up. Tired of going
after a honda and I sure as don’t like toyota’s old people cars as I am
young. This is a nice alternative. It bugs me when people say “Can’t go
wrong with a honda or toyota” I love that other car makers are coming in
hard after the accord, civic and camry. I agree with my dad on this, the
ford fusion is definitely worth it in the long run. ?

  10. Well engineered tech is the best. Too many bad designs out there. This is
a breath of fresh air. ?

  11. I have my fusion 2014 for a month already and I always get 40+ on the
mileage (MPG) with no problem, I love my new car?

  12. This was easily one of the best car reviews I have seen. Easy to listen to
and informative. Nice job, please use this host and style more.?

  13. This was probably the most informative car review I’ve ever seen. This
Csaba Csere dude is legit. ?

  14. I’m still looking for a review that doesn’t do a black heavy interior
Titanium model, like every Fusion review here.?
