  1. Nice!
Forever i ignored “punching the disc out toward the target using my forearm
extension” as I reach the follow through.?

  2. Great tips especially about the disc being in-between the middle and index
joints and the straight line the disc should travel in across your body.?

  3. Thank you very much for this video, Mike! I have been playing for a year
and a half, and now I finally understood how to place the disc in my hand
and how to release it in the right angle. This was very helpful!

  4. So i saw this video earlier today and went out to test these tips out. It
improved my game tremedously! I was not only able to throw farther but was
also able to gain more accuracy! thanks for making this video. Throwing
with the lip up was a huge problem of mine.

  5. Good tips! I’m sure it will help people, and I’ll share. Best part is how
clear and articulated you are in this video.

  6. I’m sending this video to a couple friends who are just getting started
playing. This is the best driving tips video I’ve seen on youtube. No
fluff, no obvious stuff anyone who’s thrown a disc already knows, no
hawking this or that brands plastic, just the most vital things you need to
focus on to throw a disc well backhand style. Good job.

  7. Your- the- man . About time ! someone with important detail that a lot of
over tip videos miss(hand placement ).Thanks for taking the time to explain
everything in detail that is easy to understand.

  8. I’ve been practicing with the new grip and my consistency has improved
dramatically. I haven’t felt myself releasing early/late since I started
and my drives are hitting the same 10 foot window FAR more often, along
with keeping the height down. Thanks!

  9. I agree, i love the advice about where to put the disc in your palm.
Everyone else shows where to put your fingers but dont point that out. I
finally see why i always get the nose end up when i throw. Keep up the good
    work!

  10. Trying to drive my putters and midrange..backhand they have a slight hook
not major but a slight one doesnt go straight. My fore hand they tend to
die out fast to the left and roll. Im right handed not sure what I am doing
    wrong please help.

  11. Watched this today and went and threw, added a consistent 20 or so feet
just on the first day. I’m sure more to come! I was throwing from 19 short
at arb and landing up at the practice basket every time – which is good for
    me! Thanks for the video

  12. Thank you! Before I was keeping my disc in between my thumb and index joint
instead of my index joint as middle joint!! Made a world of difference!

  13. Everything you said was exactly correct. So many bad technique videos on
youtube. These are the basics I preach to people. I have to use them, I’m a
small guy so I have to have good mechanics and speed to get distance. I’ve
made some disc golf videos now that I have a good camera that I just
purchased, hopefully I’m making some like you soon.

  14. Really awesome videos. Please keep them coming. Especially tips for noobs
    like me.

  15. I know there are a couple of these, but on a very serious level – THANK YOU
SO MUCH! My game improved dramatically after watching your tutorials. I was
throwing farther than ever, several discs and getting the tiniest clusters
of landings. I’ve never thrown so far or accurately in my life. I couldn’t
believe how crappy my previous technique was. Really concise, well thought
    advice. Cheers.

  16. Thank you SO MUCH for explaining where the disk should sit in your hand…
this made a world of a difference for me in bringing the angle of the disk
    down.

  17. Good tips thank you, I like the part about coming straight through and not
looping out around your body. Also good explanation of how to put the disc
in your hand with the power grip.
