  1. What happens if a disc lands on top of the basket does that mean its in or
    what

  2. pdga . com / rules it is even worse! “There’s no longer a default drop
zone. If the Director has not designated a drop zone, go to the previous
    lie”…this is cruel…

  3. Different example. On one course here, there is ~70m straight up-hil, mando
tree (around left side), then going to the right another ~30m to the
basket. fairway itself is right angled, so you tee off along the mando
line. it is quite easy to achieve this situation: you pass the mando,
however the disc starts rollin and below the tree pass back the mando line.
According to what you say here I would have to pass the mando once more.
makes no sense to me. you “disarmed this trap” already.

  4. It would be nice to get more information on jump putting and where it is
legal/illegal. Also regarding the lack of 30ft circle on a lot of courses
it can be confusing as to can I jump putt or not from my lie. Thanks Big
    John

  5. good video and drawing. the only thing is, it’s going to take more effort
for tourny people to set up and draw that Mando “line” everytime there is
    one.

  6. As per this rule itself I dont like it. After such bounce and roll you lose
one shot very likely anyway, not alking of what goes on within your head
after such hit. no more stress needed i would say…

  7. I definitely think you should do more rules videos. I didn’t know about
Mandos before this, and there is a lot of other rules that I know I’m not
    familiar with

  8. The more people that know about the rules the better! I’m glad your doing
it. It only helps the game!!

  9. keep going with the series, it’s a big help. before this i had no idea that
mandatories were even a thing. plus it really helps that the only course i
have around me is the easiest thing in the world.

  10. love it. I definately think you should reference the rule number you are
talking about, and read the rule as written.

  11. So what about a mando sign on a post in front of a row of trees that line a
basketball court that points left. Do you just have to go to the left of
the sign or all of the trees?

  12. How come a rule is you have tp finish your drives on the pad but i see pros
    not obey that rule

  13. Mandos are good if a course has one or two. Keep doing the rules videos. Do
    one on casual water next.

  14. it means you have to drop under basket and hole out next throw. the same as
any other obstacle on the way. “In order to hole out, the thrower must
release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the chains and/or
the inner cylinder (bottom and inside wall) of the tray. It may be
    additionally supported by the pole.”

  15. When the disc is released, at least one of the player’s supporting points
must be in contact with the surface of the teeing area, and all the
player’s supporting points must be within the teeing area. … Running up
from behind the teeing area before the disc is released is permitted.
Following through in front of the teeing area is permitted provided there
is no supporting point contact outside the teeing area when the disc is
    released. amen

  16. Mandatori? Så vidt jeg ved er der ikke mange baner, her hjemme der bruger
manda. Men det er da, rat at vide…?
