  1. Hmm, never thought of that one… I’ll try and see if i can stand a little
more upright then… For instance: My shoulders are somewhere in front of
my feet now… Maybe thats too far?

  2. hey mark, I’ve got a question. My coach tells me that when I take a
practice swing, my swing is perfect. But when I try to hit a ball, my swing
gets all weird. Can you think of any solutions? (It’s probably a mental
problem…) Thanks man, and I love your videos!!!

  3. you might be standing too bent over? With the driver i stand uprighter than
the iron and have a flatter swing plane.

  4. Could be several reasons why this is happening. Ill state the most common
ones.. Youre sinking towards the ground while swining through. Standing too
close to the ball Releasing the club early / Tilting too much Try standing
infron of a mirror and take your swing in slow-motion and you will probably
see for yourself whats going on. Or you can record your golfswing and play
it in slow-motion and stop at key areas to see how it looks and where youre
    at.

  5. you are probably swaying. on the driver try to hit up on the ball. ball
position should be right off the left foot instep. hope this helps

  6. thanks for the video mark…this might explain some of the spin number
questions I see u hitting on that launch monitor… They seem low for the
clubs u are hitting…maybe u are not swinging full …I’ve been
workiworking on the opposite on the driver after one of your ” hit it
longer videos”. For the driver…I guess I took it too far..went to check
it yesterday….my first ten shots on trackman were 9° up…..still right
changes…just taking things too far. Thanks again. Adam

  7. Hi Mark, I also have a question. I tend to hit the ground in front of the
ball with my driver. (?) My irons are going well. I’m a starting golfer
with lessons coming up in the spring/summer of this year. Maybe you can
give me some pointers on how to get rid of my problem. Thanks in advance
and love your videos. Greetings from Holland!

  8. Is chunking it the same as hitting it fat? What about topping it and
    thinning it – the same thing? And what’s a so-called chilli-dip? Anybody?
    Ta in advance.

  9. It is… Its on the inside of my left heel/big toe….. I think there is
something seriously wrong with my swing path…. Don’t have the problem
with my irons, what someone might expect…..

  10. Should you have the same grips on all off your clubs? Wedges, irons and
woods? What are the best club and putter grips in you opinion?

  11. I have a very similar mishit. Formerly I was hitting alot of fat shots but
after shortening my stance and swinging less upright (more around my body
because I’m shorter), I started hitting shots thin. Its a rarity now but
    that’s how it’s been going.

  12. yes yes very helpful for a golfer JUST STARTING – video self analysis –
shhhhhh now and let the pro answer!

  13. So the answer’s “No” then – i.e. “I used to hit the occasional bad one but
i’ve sorted it now”. 😉 Top stuff Mark. 5W vs hybrid video pretty please!

  14. Basically yes and yes, however chunking to me is a bit worse than hitting
it fat and also topping it is worse than hitting it thin. Never heared of
    chilli-dips.
