  1. The tip that helped me is to try to bury the ball in the ground so when you
hit it the ball won’t move at all and go straight into the ground, if you
try to do that the ball will be hit so much better?

  2. Why is he shouting and talking to the viewer like they are stupid…? Oh
    yeah, he’s a yank. Twat.?

  3. Could be more concise, but a nice review of what I find hard to master.
Makes me want to get the clubs out and get to the range.?

  4. Digging this! I used it and it helped me, for sure. It could have been
misleading to me as a complete beginner but having been playing for a year
now, I know exactly what he means by scooping the ball. This is not a
lesson on the physics of a golf ball, it is instead an athlete’s feel of
what happens in a sweet ass swing. I can see his point! Loved the “let the
club do the work” cause I do often find myself exaggerating my body’s role
    in a swing.?

  5. Great explanation for me to learn how to “hit down” on the ball. I have
never been able to understand how to make contact with the ball, and this
    helped me immediately. Thanks. ?

  6. This has to be one of the most incorrect explanations of how a golf ball
and a clubhead interact. There is no “squeezing” of the ball into the turf.
The golf ball does not roll up the face of anything. This is just
completely incorrect. Now, the golf ball may launch at a lower initial
trajectory depending on how steep the angle of attack is but that is due to
to the momentary friction between the grooves and the ball. A slightly
descending angle of attack is preferred so the player doesn’t scoop the
ball or try to help it into the air. These ignorant ideas of pinching and
rolling up the face need to be addressed and laid to rest. They are not
helping golfers or the industry. There are plenty of high speed videos you
can look up that show what happens in the brief moment that impact occurs. ?

  7. This does a great job of explaining what’s wrong (I had really fallen off
transferring weight, then finally realized what I was doing), and to some
extent how to fix it. Check out videos on “weight transfer” and you’ll get
some good drills to do. The one where you take your normal address, then
pull your left foot back so it’s side by side your right (right handers)
take your backswing then step into the shot – that really helped me. Once
you start to feel it, wow, what a difference. I think I’d been slowly
creeping into this very bad habit of staying stuck on right side. My irons
were just awful – much better now!?

  8. Hi Tim, great videos. Do you have anything on swinging a 3 wood or a
    driver. Thanks.?

  9. Great tips! Thanks
    Can I give you a tip…?
Your delivery is always at the same high decibel level and there is no
change in pace or volume. Do you write in upper case all the time?
If you want to make a point or emphasis something, you got nowhere to go.
Drop it down a gear or two sometimes…?

  10. i agree with davidnesbit09……simple straight to the point …..and ive
