found i lost a little distance.
didn’t the 3 and 5 woods replace the 1 and 2 irons.
I’ve found that I get more distance with a hybrid than an iron.
I was golfing today and borrowed a friends hybrid. I hit it well but found
that i was hitting about 20yards further using 3/4 irons for a similar
feeling connection. Is this normal because the hybrid certainly looks like
it should hit further?

I like more hybrids than low irons
i seriously doubt conan put that ball out the same distance he would when
using a four iron. which is where i find difficulty in using the hybrid. to
be able to float around 200 and have the forgiveness or control of my
hybrid and forgo the iron.

I got a hybrid and I love it great club
Hybrids don’t necessarily go farther, it all depends on the golfer. They
are certainly more forgiving than a 3/4 iron, especially for hitting out of
the rough.
