When choosing a hybrid its best to test different clubs like mark said,
people I feel make the mistake of replacing say a 21 deg 4 iron with a 21
deg hybrid this is so wrong because 99% of the time you will hit a 21 deg
metal wood so much further than the 4 iron due to being easier to hit,
launch, forgiveness and the light graphite shaft v the heavier steel shaft,
so replacing your 4 iron may just result in you getting a higher lofted
hybrid eg 24 or 25deg.
i have a 5 wood and a 5 iron what loft hybrid should i get?
Also, would’ve been interesting to hear your distances for your 4 iron,
hybrid and 3W so we’d know your gaps.
