  1. It’s really not difficult to make a backyard course. It just takes a hell
of a lot of time to do it properly. This is a good example of a good
backyard course. If you want to go the extra mile, plant some bent grass
for the greens, and possibly the fairways. But that only if you have a lot
    of time and money.

  2. If you’re just starting out, you have a decent selection of clubs. A “full”
    set includes 14 clubs. For example, I have a driver, a 3 wood, a 3 hybrid,
4 through 9 irons, a pitching wedge, and 52 (gap) 56 (sand) and 60 (lob)
degree wedges. A beginner doesn’t need to have all 14. For you, I’d
recommend a pitching wedge for sure and a sand wedge if you can. Just know
that your 2,3, and 4 irons may be difficult to hit at first.

  3. I linked to two options in the description. Can’t say for sure whether we
got 4″ or 6″ cups, but if a deep hole is important to you consider the 6″.

  4. My dad just gave me his golf club set. I have a titanium driver, six irons,
    #2, #3, #5, #6, #7, and #8, and a professional putter. He says all I’m
missing is a sand wedge which is used for sand traps.
