  1. Wow! Nice dispersion with the SFT. I ended up dumping my G30 for two
reasons – 1) too high spinning and 2) the sound was dreadful. If they can
solve the latter then I’d be all over this bad boy.?

  2. Dont think I ever seen you hit it that far consistently and such narrow
dispersion. Got to be in the bag surely?!?

  3. Credit when credits due the animation and editing is the best quality for
    golf on YouTube ?????

  4. Looks a promising driver. When you do the shaft test can you ad a few more
shafts in there? So next to stiff and X-stiff, can you also ad a regular
and maybe a flex? I think it’s interesting to see what a shaft does in the
total package. Is it a difference or is it not?
Thanks for the great work! ?

  5. From Golf Digest article in 2009 on Bubba Watson: “…Watson is really off
the charts is in his combination of launch angle (16 degrees; the tour
average is about 12) and spin rate (an absurdly low 1,600 to 1,800
revolutions per minute; the tour average is 2,700).”

Now imagine this model G30 fitted for Bubba? Mother of God!?

  6. i bought the R15 the day it came out and my god that is a different breed
of driver i cant wait to be smashing it 300 yards i normally hit a driver
    around 230 -240 i was consistantly hitting this one 250 -255 and i was
gobsmacked by the difference it makes if your looking for a good solid all
around driver it has to be this one in my opinion ?

  7. Great video. Looks like +Rick Shiels PGA has a new driver to challenge +Peter
Finch Golf . Maybe a Orlando longest drive contest??

  8. Got to be put in the bag rick?! I’ve never seen your dispersion so tight
and isn’t 324 your longest?? Awesome video can’t wait to try it!!:D?

  9. Rick, love your vids. Best on YT bar none.
If Ping could do something with the sound of the G30 series I probably
would give it a go. I know I could add hotmelt but there are just too many
great drivers coming out for me to take the time to mess with hotmelt. I
have the R15 but really looking forward to your cobra flyz+ review. Cheers.?

  10. Love the dispersion you get with it on top of the distance! Impressive!
1485 rpm spin on that last drive! WOW!!!?

  11. Yup rematch!! You should switched to X-stiff a while ago. It’s pretty funny
despite all the technology now with clubs that let you adjust it 17
different ways makes seem a little unnecessary if you can get these type of
numbers with a much simpler club. Although you shot shape is significantly
different from your normal right to left shot with this club. ?

  12. Hi Rick, Lucky boy getting this first 🙂 but you say it would suit a golfer
with a faster club head speed. What in your opinion is a higher club head
    speed? 90+ 95+ 100+ 105+ ?????

  13. Hey Rick. It looks like your dispersion is a lot tighter with far less draw
from the x stiff shaft! Do you think possibly stiff shafts in general are a
little soft for your swing type and speed. It seems you are possibly more
of a hitter through the ball than a swinger? Wouldnt this load the shaft
more also? Keep up the good work anyway-from Australia?

  14. I love how some people think these low spin clubs will change them from
3500 to 2000 spin. Simple fact is pros hit the optimum spot on the face and
have better swings in general. I’m a 4 hcp with a pretty solid swing but
generally spin it quite high due to swing flaws but I’m generally happy
with my game. Anyone hoping for a miracle cure would probably get better
results from some lessons, especially if they learn how to hit up on the
    ball with the driver.?

  15. Hi Rick. I ordered this in a 9.5 like my Titleist 905R. My spin rate was
3500 and was same at 3400. I tee it high and really hit it on my upswing.
Was hoping I could get it below 3000 but didn’t happen. Anything I can do
    to address this issue??

  16. What I noticed in Rick’s videos is that he hits the ball often a bit low on
the club face (driver). I always remember the recommendation I saw (but
regarding the SLDR driver) that the optimal hitting point is quite high on
the face on many of the new drivers. And especially on last 326 yards hit,
you could see that Rick hit it probably sufficient high on the face –
seeing how the tie flew away. But maybe I’m just jumping to conclusions.?

  17. Great vid, great shots! Rick, Just wondering about efficiency/smash factor.
I was expecting you to be near 1.5 smash but you had 1.43. Rangeballs the
    answer? ?

  18. Some incredibly numbers there Rick. Any chance of getting a 915D3 vs Vapor
    Pro vs G30 LST showdown??

  19. Like me, I think the main benefit you are seeing is the better accuracy
from the open face angle. My 10.5 Razr Fit Xtreme opens up 1.5 degrees
which takes the loft down to 9.5. I may have to try this one as a little
more height might be a good thing. Hopefully they have a 70ish gram X shaft
available as well. I just do better with the extra weight.?
