  1. i cant wait till they put a gps tracking devide in balls, and u can track
them on your phone while your at the course. lol im just saying?

  2. Hi Mark, I was wondering what dynamic loft is (last column of the data
sheet) ? Also, why is the launch angle so different from one ball to the
    other ?
Also, if you calculate total distance minus carry distance you end up with
6.5 yards and 6.4 yards …. why is the difference so little ? … Because
of the nature of the shot being played ?

    Thanks.?

  3. I’m a junior golfer about a ten handicap I use prov1X but the prov1 I use
    for practing green shots?

  4. I can’t even consider pro v1(x)’s because of cost. They cost far too much.?

  5. Mark, you haven’t experienced it all until you come out to Tpi in oceanside
    California?

  6. ProV1 is my #1 choice and has been for years…I’ve also at times opted for
the Taylormade TP5 which is also a very good short game performer. The
    Callaway
Tour i(s) is also good around the greens. New price for any of these is of
minimum difference. Mark should probably do a review on the later two for
comparing spin rates, however in my experiance, these three balls are of
    excellent quality and purpose specific.?

  7. Most golfers don’t need good balls because they skull and chilli dip shots
around the green and have no short games skills anyways. I’m an 8 handicap
and I can shoot the same round with a range ball.?

  8. Hi Mark, can you do a performance test with tour what ever it is named
machine between a new ball and some balls that already have been hit for a
couple of rounds. I’m wondering when you have to dish your ball.

    Thanks. ?

  9. I did play callaway hex black’s until I noticed that they were not
particularly durable. Now I’m switching between Srixon AD33 and Pro V1’s
depending on the course / how I’m feeling. ?

  10. As you say figures are what you’d expect, for a long time now I’ve used
solely Pro V1’s occasionally trying out premium balls from Callaway, Nike,
Srixon, TM, but have always stayed with V1’s as it gave me best feel + best
results. Did the Titleist “Ball product expert man!” give his and
Titleist’s explanation in detail as to what he thought the main performance
differences ‘actually’ (do the numbers mirror what their blurb says) were
    between V1’s & V1x’s ???

  11. I found it interesting that the pro v1 with all its spin rolled out 6
yards. The tour s with its surprisingly low spin rolled out 7 yards. 50
yard pitch and the difference was 3 feet. To me the overwhelming evidence
is that if you aren’t really solid of the tee you’re silly to spend the
extra money… I prefer the pro v but going forward that might change??

  12. Good video. Proper controlled golf. Leave the gorilla in the zoo where he
    belongs.
    ?

  13. What I really like about this video is the fact that Titleist and in past
videos mizuno have invited mark or mark has blagged his way in lol to do
informative videos about their products with a of risk of mark not towing
their commercial line fair play to them, who on YouTube has this level of
access, well done mark great vid. ?

  14. Hi Mark, great video as usual, keep up the good work! My question would be
in relation to the difference the extra spin rate makes on draws/fades? If
I play and 10 yard draw with an average ball (i.e. Callaway hex hot pro),
will the increased spin rate of a higher end ball increase the distance the
    ball draws??

  15. I’m amazed that they’d suggest the Pro V1x balls are suitable for ALL
handicaps. I was always under the impression that there were ‘right’ balls
for the different standards of players.

As other have mentioned though, for a high handicapper like me, who rarely
doesn’t lose a ball or two (or four or five) during a round, an expensive
ball like the Pro V1x might well help me drop a few shots but it’s
    definitely going to be expensive:

AMAZON PRICE: £45.99 for a dozen of the 2013 model of the Pro V1X, compared
to £13.99 for 15 of the 2012 model Pinnacles.

    Golf is expensive enough!?

  16. Hi mark. I love using pro v 1x golf balls for their performance but they’re
so expensive. I can get them refurbished for €20. What’s your opinion on
    using refurbished golf balls? Thanks.?

  17. pro v1 is a good ball but some how i play better .. putting and chipping
with the( nike one ) ball and i play off a 12 handicap and that.s all what
matters i think is what u are comfy with … and whats that below with i
play off round about 10 -15 handicap .. play a tournement and find out what
u play young man instead of guessing ?

  18. Great video. I’d like it if you could compare the Pro V1, Srixon Z Star and
Nike 20Xi S. I’m considering going back to the Pro V1 because of what you
showed in the video I want more spin into the green.?

  19. Huge respect should go to Titleist for allowing their claims to be
independently tested, I’m definitely happy to continue using Titleist golf
    balls.?
