  1. I’m an S56 player (4 handicap), and currently looking at S55’s or the new
Taylor Made ‘Tour Preferred MB’. I just fancy a new ‘shiny’ set, and
thinking that they sound so similar that i should stick to S56 and only
change if the MB’s take my fancy.
Waiting for my pro to get them in 🙂
    Great video !!?

  2. Too bad you did not use 5 irons in your comparison Rick, because the loft
is the same for both irons. ?

  3. After playing Mizuno for over the last 7 years, ive now moved to the S55,
all i can say PING have done an awesome job on these. Great Review.?

  4. After watching your review I sourced a 3-PW set of S56’s that are close to
my specs. I will save at least $400.00USD. Thank you!?

  5. What an ignominious end to the poor S56. Not even a gold pocket watch and a
    send-off cake.

  6. Interesting that you said they feel the same am surprised at that?! as the
biggest selling point coming out of Ping about the slightly smaller headed
S55’s is they have created a much softer (better?) feel? As one thing
always leveled against Ping is they can’t quite match the feel of a forged
club, as a Mizuno iron player (Mp33’s handicap 2) it’s one thing that’s
always put me off Ping. 33’s probably due for a change looking at the
    MP4’s, but going to try S55, AP2 714, new Nike combo’s:

  7. No one needs clubs ever year or two,,,,just ridiculous. i doubt Nicklaus,
Hogan, Trevino changed much at all !!!. What you need is practice every
week,,,you simply cannot buy a game. Also irons are not about distance, but
accuracy. Having said all that,,,,enjoy your new irons. PING S55 vs Mizuno
    MP 4?????

  8. this is one of your best videos it shows that you really do know what your
talking about. im 15 years old and a 6.4 handicap index i really like the
s55 my swing speed is 95 and my average 7 iron goes about 180. my only
concern with the s55 is the amount of spin i get. do you think that these
    clubs can generate enough spin.

  9. 7 shots (143 dollars per shot) to buy the new set. Obviously you could have
had the S56 bent strong. They seem to be the exact same performance. The
most honest part of the review was you wanted the S55 and given your
profession getting the new iron seems more mental than physical. Both are
very nice sets. Congrats on the new set, hope you have the opportunity to
wear them out before the S54 comes out.

  10. indeed, bit silly changing clubs if you play 4 times a year I would rather
spend my money on some lessons to hit more straight to get a better
    dispersion 🙂
