  1. This is what Rick and I have been working on for a few months now.
I’ve posted the teaching videos on here for Driver and Irons.
Excellent tip and the distance increase is dramatic. Feel free to look at
    them folks.?

  2. now extra club head speed or distance without releasing it properly!!!! you
    need to mention that surely.?

  3. Think this one is beyond me for now – my swing seems fine so I really
don’t want to fiddle with it much – I don’t think I get back anything like
as far as that but, the club seems to reach 90deg – however, I don’t really
need any more power as I am a long hitter and whip the head through very
fast – in truth I am hitting it further than my eyesight can see so a long
drive is a risk of ball loss – at the moment I am using the driver less and
    less :-)?

  4. Good one about the lag, bit I think you left an important thing out. Lag
doesnt equal speed if you dont release the lag at impact. A lot of players
hold the lag and dont release it at impact, making them hit poor shots.
    Cheers
    ?

  5. So with irons do you create wrist hinge on your backswing but driver it’s
    created on downswing?

  6. And leave the club face open, creating a massive slice. Lag is a nothing to
the average golfer and only works on golfers who understand impact, even
then the gains are minor. For the average golfer, lag isn’t a word that
    should ever be mentioned.?

  7. Awesome. I know I need to have more lag in my swing, but you’ve explained
ways and feelings on HOW I achieve this. Keep the tips coming :-)?

  8. The exact video I was thinking about! Still trying to get my head around
lag. I’m sure it’ll become clear when I go for a hit tomorrow.
    Thanks Rick!?

  9. Quality! Great to see you back Rick and huge congrats on the new addition
(your daughter, not the SLDR!) Are you gonna get some more course vlogs
going with ‘The Finch’? Really enjoy both you guy’s stuff. Been a great
    help to my game. ?

  10. Don’t know if this helps, but the way I learned lag was to relax my grip
and arms slightly when I set my hands at the top of the backswing. The
feeling is sort of like you are letting gravity take over to return the
club to impact rather than trying to muscle the club through the ball. I am
not a long hitter, but I get the most out of what I have, and I am very
    accurate.?

  11. Surely if you start your transition in the correct sequence fire the hips
which drops the left shoulder automatically, upper body follows, arm trails
as does the club then lag (if nice and relaxed through the swing) is
something that naturally happens. I think ppl get too caught up in lag and
forget about the other ways to create it (naturally) concentrate on what
comes before lag and the lag will create itself. ?
