  1. TaylorMade R11s Ping G20 Driver reviewed by Mark Crossfield PGA
professional AskGolfGuru. Mark hits the two drivers that can be found in
golf professionals bags along with game improvers. See which driver comes
out on top and which driver might help you hit more fairways and lower your
    golf scores.?

  2. hi mark why do you never compare the yardages between clubs because im 15
and i can hit an old taylormade 240 wheras a new r11 i can carry 260 with
the same shaft. btw i play mp 60 irons with s300 and about identical in my
    wood flex.

  3. Had both…..g20 way better more distance and more fairways..who cares
about pretty drivers..luv your vids..went and picked up some i15
irons…thanx for the help..ping all the way

  4. stakebreaker. i agree but mark is only one person who compares all of the
clibs therefore it would be interesting to see he difference in yardage
between a players club and a game improvers club

  5. Mark could you please do an in the bag video? I know a lot of people would
    like it!

  6. you should do smash factor hit 3 good shots with each check smashfactor and
see what the smash factor is like on a mis hit.

  7. because yardages always vary by person but launch angles can be compared
throughout every players clubs and can be more important.

  8. Hi Mark I’ve got a couple of questions I hope you can help me with. 1) At
the top of your backswing the club is horizontal with the floor. Is that
just thru shoulder and arm movement or wrist hinge? I’ve never really
understood how an when to hinge my wrists??? an 2) Do you notice any major
difference in grip types? i.e the Vardon grip or the 10 finger grip? Love
the vids, keep ’em coming! Thanks

  9. for me the G20’s head looks so much bigger than most other heads on other
drivers but its still a nice driver.

  10. I have been looking for a new driver . Specifically taylormade or ping . I
tried both . I liked both but in the long run the ping had more forgiveness
and less spin and i hit the ball farther with it . I got the ping . If you
are looking for a new driver i encourage that you hit both countless times
and decide for yourself . Great video .

  11. Tried both couple of weeks ago at American golf, rbz also. Rbz I didn’t
like, liked the r11s hitting it consistent but wow the g20 went a country
mile. Bloke put in a tour shaft for me to stiffen the tip and launch angle
came right down too. The head on g20 is huge compared to r11s. I went for
the taylormade as ended up being affordable-(ish) when trading in driver
started off struggling but had great round yesterday with it. Ping is
easier to hit how you want r11s takes longer to get used to.

  12. Ron (the club maker) says that Taylormade, Callaway and Titleist make the
best heads and doesn’t recommend any other head. Also, Ping G20 head is
actually 16grams lighter compared to R11S (with standard weights). R11S is
definitely longer of the two clubs without doubt. My swing speed with
driver is 122mph ave. I hope this helps.

  13. are you using the 6.2 or 7.2 in the tour spec and could you compare the gd
BB 7 and the 7.2 x in a rocketballz tour

  14. i get your point bu some ajustable drivers work very well in neutral 🙂

  15. I currently have the r11 which I hit a little inconsistently. I borrowed my
mates g20 and couldn’t miss, I’m borrowing it again this weekend and if all
goes well I will be buying one

  16. It depends on the player really. I have a G20 Stiff shaft, 8.5 Degree with
a swing speed of about 116 mph, and I get 10 more yards with G20. But
that’s just me being more comfortable with the G20

  17. I hit both of these +4 other Drivers today. These were the 2 best for me.
The Taylormade R11s was by far the longest, but the Ping G20 gave me a much
tighter grouping. (Cheaper too…) Ended up with the Ping G20.
