  1. @chittychad18 that’s how i taught myself to do it as well. just pretend the
chipping club is a putter and make the same stroke. let the clubhead do the
work. i can do both styles, but the more arm driven style works for me.
when i do it right (ie no deceleration), my pivot and follow through feel
great and i really feel a nice subtle turn through with my legs.

  2. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND, there are chips, pitches and flops. His swing here
looked indicative of a pitch not a chip (e.g., wrist break on backswing).
Notice how the ball got about 4 to 5 ft off the ground. Am I missing
    something or just being anal?

  4. Ok, now this makes sense to me, so much so that I’m about to go outside in
a thunderstorm in the dark and practice! Keep it close to the ground…I
always have trouble because of my downward attack angle (like I’m playing a
6-iron out of the rough from 180 yards). Man, Michael you’re awesome
brother. I’ve gone from a 125 down to a 104, and I’ll be in the 90s here in
    a few more weeks.

  5. My instructor said make a straight back straight forward putting stroke (
it works too, I’ve chipped in many times)

  6. Hey guys, started a blog to chronicle my journey to become a scratch
