One size does not fit all. It’s true. People play better with equipment
sized to fit them. The Profile Package Set is the only ‘custom fit in a

Excelent choice for a left handed beginner like myself

I was looking for an inexpensive yet good starter set. After reading
reviews I was persuaded to buy this set for four reasons: there was a left
handed version, they had positive reviews for beginners, the look and
finish was appealing and finally it was $223 for a very complete set.
Without ever playing golf before and after 4 classes with local pro and
around 1000 balls shot at the range I can comment:
pros:
– excellent shipping, packaging, timing and delivery. Left hand set
received as requested.
– built seems excellent with clubs and bag looking great.
– I am hitting the balls straight and long considering my skill, as per my
coach. He says that these is the best “cheap set” he’s ever seen by far
even with the excessive offset (more on that)
Cons (for me as a beginner ):
– big offset angle is meant to help you, and might be the “high launch”
feature. For me it’s a little too much as it confuses me eyes at address.
For a beginner without help from my coach, I would have developed bad
habits hidden by the forgiveness of the clubs.
– eccentric (peripheral )mass on the club head helps you to make distance
with bad shots, but also hides them if you do not know enough. At the
beginning the club face could strike perfectly or half an inch away and due
to my inexperience I could not tell the difference. Now I can tell and I
understand that the compromise for forgiveness is there. My swing is
getting better but my results as far as where the ball goes, are not
progressing at the same rate.
– driver and wood 3 shafts should be stiffer for me. But how to know that
before playing ever before? So I got a cheap way to know it.
My take is that these clubs are great and if you know first 2 issues above
and like it, it will be a great experience.
Me, I would have loved to understand them before buying. But for the price,
if I were to make the decision again today, I would buy again. Cons are not
real Cons for the beginner if properly guided. It would actually make you
feel better as they trick you into thinking how an awesome rookie you are
by delaying your swing strike and forgiving errors.
Will I replace them? For sure in a future when I feel the forgiveness of
the clubs hinder my progress. First one will be the driver. But all in all,
