Probably the Prius is the most expensive car and Fiesta cheapest.
Here in California Diesel has to be smogged every year, adds to cost.?
There was a perfect looking prius at the local wrecking yard it was
totalled because the battery pack failed check the price on one! Crazy
expensive. I will take the way better looking, driving and cheaper vw
diesel.?
and tfl is great but roman is such a turd burglar.. cant stand that guy…
i like the show but damn?
lol petrol is so cheap in the states and they are moaning whenever i go i
always have a 2.5 V6 minimum?
I found a bugatti veyron at a junkyard?
Out of all those Id take the BMW i8?
prius is a terrible car. ?
Not very fair comparing an old Prius with new cars.. New cars with very few
miles vs a Prius with 70k miles!! how is that fair? ?
The golf is the fastest, most powerful and in real terms, the most fuel
efficient car here. 3 or 4 MPG doesn’t sound like much, but over thousands,
and hundreds of thousands of miles (diesels can take millage much better
than petrol’s) it does add up. I wouldn’t mind better the golf is also the
most refined car here in terms of comfort ease of use and quality. Very
good.?
hybrids and electrics really have no point to exist. An all electric car is
only suitable for a city, going short trips, and a hybrid gets great
mileage only in the city. But if you live and work in a city, you don’t
need a car. At least that is what millions of city people will say who
don’t own cars. And if they ever do need to go out of the city, they either
rent a car, or use a car sharing service.
So electric and hybrid cars are for people who don’t need cars in
environments that don’t call for them.
If you need a car, and you need good mileage, get a diesel.?
Cool video I thought the Pirius would be first than the Golf, how
interesting. ?
own a fiesta… like the golf. fuck prius id rather walk and get killer
milage lmao?
The Golf had to win as its manual!!! When the Prius and the Fiesta are
Auto, that made the diference otherwise in my opinion the Prius would be
the winner.?
Results would be different if they tested just in city, Prius is the best
in city?
I can’t agree with Nathan’s statement that everybody will have to soon get
a small fuel efficient car. I have lots of tools and supplies I must carry
with me to work that only fit in a van. Right now tonight I have 12 foot
pieces of lumber in it for tomorrow. That is longer than Prius. lol.
You will drive the vehicle that you need.?
yes but when you consider long-term maintenance costs, Prius wins over Golf
hands down.?
There was no city driving in the loop. The loop is too short. It should be
at least 500 miles. If tested correctly, no doubt the Prius would have won.
That said, my pick is the turbo diesel.?
interesting, but it’s not just about mileage, it’s about using all our
resources to the max. We’ve had several Escorts & Focus and even with good
maintenance we just can’t get 200k out of them. I’m going to buy a used TDI
next time around just to see how it compares. We never buy new and never
spend more than 8k. I wonder , were all these cars automatics? I missed
that?
if the power unit goes wrong in the prius it costs so much you might as
well scrap the car waste of time?
2 words……diesel bitches?
Diesels can run off of Cooking Oil, natural gases, kerosene (which is
basically Diesel) and a lot of other oils that can be recycled. ?
Fiesta is very cute, too small for me, I did my Honda Civic days when I was
a teen. VW, just way too loud for my taste besides the engine /care
vibration will drive me sick. Did other Prius owners mentioned how QUIET
and SMOOTH any Pruis can get from time to time when engine shuts off!? I
startled a cat when Pris goes right up behind it once, thinking it heard my
tires rolling toward it. I was so careful and slow not to run over it, but
that cat seems heard not a thing and jumped out of middle of the road when
it finally turned around and saw my Prius coming. And yes, some Prius
owners did commented there are barely any repair cost, except regular
maintanence. Deep inside of every American drivers’ heads are “how much
did I just spent on gas?”. Disel cost more than Reg 89. Prius wins in the
final average “cost in pockets” sense. Unless other manufacture out do
Prius family cars, I will go back for another P. Did I mention the newer
Prius has NO serpentine belts!??
And this is a surprise to any of you? Maybe to Americans yes it would be,
but to the civilized world it was a no brainer. Ford is garbage always
has been and Toyota???? come on… if its German its game over just the
way it is. So ill let ya go get back on your cousin now.?
Up here in Oregon, diesel is about $0.30 cheaper than regular…?
The Golf is the only reputable one to own. The turbocharger helps with
efficiency, power, and reduced waste. Every car should have one there isn’t
much of a reason to not have one. ?
