Mark Crossfield plays the 14th at Stover Golf Club with the Bushnell Hybrid
GPS Laser Rangerfinder and talks about how it helps him plot his way around
the golf course. See if the hybrid system from Bushnell’s could help you
play better golf. ?
AskGolfGuru at Stover Golf Club in Newton Abbot reviewing Bushnell GPS
Hybrid.?
Can you use this device in most golf competitions?
Its probably quite a bit cheaper than having a separate GPS and range
finder. I have a Golfbuddy GPS and a Bushnell laser and IIRC they cost me
a tad over £600 for the pair.?
Good video again Mark. However, I get impression I would feel like a bit of
a tit whipping one of them out every couple of shots on a busy day whilst
hearing the murmurs of “just fkn hit it will ye”. I can see the point of
them but wouldn’t one of them watches do the job to an extent?
Ahhh, that’s the one for me.
Love your videos! But, you gotta tell us. Did you make the putt?
I stole it.
A quick look suggests around the £300 – £400 mark
Do some course management and round the course videos Mark!
If you had to choose between the laser rangefinder and the GPS, could you
make a decision at this point? (I live in the Australian bush, and we play
on 9 hole goat tracks 🙂 )
what king of driver do you use?
Did you make the putt mark 🙂 ?
I would have give a thumbs up but you didn’t finish up!
+1 for the What’s in your bag video!!
hey mark im 12 and i play off 24 my best ever score round 18 was 89 i made
yesterday anyway i made a deal with my uncle that if i can get down to 5 by
the time im 15 he will by me a putter of my my choice i’m playing 36+ holes
every weakend and i hit my driver about 180-200 (at best) yards is there
any thing you would recomend me doing when i practise or what i practise to
help me to get down to 5
Awsome review (AND play ;)! Love the passion and soul you put in. Thx mate
You make it look to easy mark
Great stuff. Would be interesting to compare that to a phone app. I use
Golfshot GPS for Windows Phone )it also works on iPhone and Android, I
think) and, in addition to gps, it also has maps of the courses, so you can
get much more information on the course. You can measure distances to
hazards, see the hole layout, etc.
Did you make the putt?
In the bag (like so Mark can see)
What’s in the bag vid? Please
Trouble is their GPS is only basic compared to a skycaddy.. Best option is
still to buy the laser and use the little Golfbuddy that clips to you hat
or use a GPS watch .. Smaller , less easy to lose etc..
Boringgg?
