  1. im 12 and I hit the ball about 210 yards with my driver, 135 with my 7 iron
and about 70 with my sand wedge wah ball wouldbenifit me most??

  2. Flight control: I feel that when I hit my long irons forward in my stance i
tend to get a weaker ballflight and a slight fade, that’s why I tend to hit
it slighty more in the middle to back in my stance when hitting tee shots
with 2-4ish irons, this helps with distance, and gives more of a medium
trajectorty… Would you recommend this or rather go for the ball forward
    position? I’m 17 btw. 7iron=170ish driver=270ish.

  3. Interesting video. I started playing recently after a 15 year lay off! As I
knew I’d be losing loads of balls I bought the incredibly cheap (24 for £8)
Dunlop tour balls. I dn’t loose so many now so changed to a ‘proper’ ball.
I now use the Srixon soft feel ones now as they compress at slower swing
speed. They definitely go further in the air. I immediately use a club or
two less on short holes and the distance with 3 wood and driver is far
greater, I would say 10% to 15% further on irons.

  4. Not going to lie, I still use Dunlops and Pinacles, its like a comfort
thing if I’m honest. If I’m using a Titelist ProV1 (That I find at
bootsales or just lying around on the course) I’m too busy thinking about
where to put the ball, being too cautious, trying to not slice it, trying
to hit it softs and it decreases my distance. The cheaper the ball, the
better in my opinon, 36 Donnay golf balls for 6.99…sounds good to me!

  5. You are probably scooping the ball and adding loft. Think about driving
down and through the ball. I used to scoop behind the ball with my wedges.
To fix that I focus on the front of the ball at address and when I come
into my downswing I try to get a feeling that the first place my club is
going to contact the ball is the front of it. What ends up happening is
that I actually hit the back of the ball first with a descending blow and
take a divot on the target side of the ball.

  6. if I am a 16 handicap and I get spin around the greens, not a ton but I do
get spin and I am looking for less spin off of my drives for more roll, the
best ball for me is obviously a Pro V1x, but is there any other ball that
is less expensive that does relatively the same things?, im just looking
    for recommendations, thanks

  7. Even if you’re in a rush to start playing, don’t neglect hitting a few
balls at the range beforehand. Practice shots will help to prepare you for
your first genuine shot, and it loosens up your muscles.

  8. Love ya mark but bullcrap. I get approx 20-30yds extra from Callaway hot
balls. A par 3 hole on a course I play frequently usually has my 4 iron
just at the lip of the green. I used the hots and almost hit a guy on the
tee of the next hole. It went 25 yds past my usual prov1 or Warbird
distance. I love those balls but they do lack spin around the green so they
fit my game perfectly as a bump and run player.

  9. Hate people and companies who say this ball will give you this much more
distance its just pure rubbish. All about the golf swing you make, your
strength etc. when I was playing off a higher handicap i used the titleist
nxt or the srixon soft feel, both great balls for higher handicappers and
both not to expensive. I’m off low figure now an still don’t use the pro v
though, taylor made penta is a great ball and a lot cheaper!

  10. Hi mark, i was wondering if you could help me with my wedge shots, when i
take a full swing with a wedge it just climbs higher instead of traveling
farther. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks in advance! Quinn

  11. I love the Nike One RZN X, they’re really long and explosive I also feel
    they’re accurate around the green

  12. Titleist dt solo is a pretty good ball I had more consistent distances with
that over other balls in that category or price range. Not tries pro v1 im
afriad of losing them atm. But dt solo works for me.

  13. Anybody wanting a decent ball at average cost, you can’t go wrong with Nike
PD soft, They’re about £12 a dozen and I would recommend them.

  14. I’d like to see Mark hit a range ball vs a pro v1 and see if the distances
vary, even if its a psychological thing
