Rick, of all the drivers you tested, who’s the champ? pick one….?
Can’t really compare the two heads if you are using to different shafts. I
want to see someone trackman the D2 vs D3 with the Black shaft?
2 different shafts in the d2 vs d3…
Just changed over from 910d2 65g stiff voodoo shaft to a 913d3 with a
diamana 72 70g stiff shaft. No comparison ball flight superb and more
consistent with new club but…. would have to say I’d say its more to do
with the shaft. oh yea much nicer accoustics from the d3 also ???
U might have been asked this before, Rick, but what driver is in your bag?
Or should I ask which one is your favorite?
please do this competition with flight scope?
That is a fair point. I will make sure my reviews in future are much more
accurate. However thanks for watching.
D3 is the club to buy. D2 looks massive
Would have been easy with the wrench to test both heads with the same two
shafts, so you got D2 with S+ and D+ and likewise D3 with S+ and D+, both
in the neutral A1 setting, but to be honest to get any real comparison you
need to get the numbers, spin rate, launch, ball speed etc either by
trackman, GC2 + HMT or flightscope.
Notice that you prefer the D3? With better results? May have something to
do with the fact you have the S+ shaft in the D2 but the D+ shaft in the
D3. Could have something to do with it? So not really a ‘apples for apples’
test to be fair.

am i right in thinking that the different shafts are because titleist want
to give their higher handicap golfers an ‘easier’ club to hit? if so rick
has performed a good test which has tested whether it is indeed an easier
club to hit. great video man!
