he never mentions the ‘long choke’ he has on his handle. Does this
contribute to his consistency? Rather than using a shorter club, does the
choke add something technically positive to the swing??
hi folks: moe insists that he swings like a pendulum but then the club face
would be closed at the top, but he opens it: IMO.
what do you tink??
I would love to know why the guy with the camera never thought that maybe
we want to see the ball flight. Meaning, get right behind him so we can see
that. Instead we are always at an angle where we see the swing but not the
ball flight, which is the real amazing aspect of Moe Norman’s swing.
Not just this video, but I cannot find any video that captures that, which
is amazing really. ?
How far was he hitting those shots??
His second chip was thin :)?
Thanks for your series on Moe Norman. They are very complete. I especially
like the ones with slow motion. In researching Moe, I found how well he was
liked in Canada, and is sadly missed. Golf needs more of Moe’s type that
interact close with fans as he did.?
you dont hear Moe talk about weight at the top of his swing. Where did he
say he felt his weight at the top Kirk ??
You have to love Moe Norman, what a legend! If only the PGA had accepted
him for who he was!?
how much bigger did he wrap his grips.?
Great video – Notice how Moe never took a divot or disturbed the grass!!!
This video has to be the most recent of Moe Norman to date imho. The same
day or shortly after he appeared on the Golf Channel with Craig Shankland
and Peter Kessler in Dec 2001. I remember because I taped it. This video is
invaluable and a treasure to Moe Norman fans! 3 yrs after this video Moe
Norman passed away so this could very well be the last known video of the
greatest ball striker that ever lived.
thanks for the video Kirk.
thank you for the video
it was an education to watch moe ter and brilliant golferthank the world
has lost a true character bill dunbar
you captured some awesome footage I’ve never seen or heard anywhere. I got
a lot out of it and never seem to stop learning about his technique Thanks
