I still have the Callaway FT 3 Wood. Still loving the club when I’m hitting
it well. I’d love to try the Razr Fit Xtreme though. My Callaway Ft-i 9.5*
driver works well but I think the extra spin it was designed to create to
keep the ball flying straighter is costing me some distance.
I am also seriously rethinking my tee drives. 2 times a round, I will hook
and slice a drive OB, costing precious strokes! I am much better with 3w,
preferring smaller head sizes. I want to work the ball more than distance
and control tee shots. So far, no driver is as accurate or consistent as my
Sonartec 3w ~ 250 yds, but I need 270 yds from a 3w. I don’t need 300 yd
drives to score well.
I’m severely tempted to go for a 3Deep. Seems a good replacement for my
current 3 wood from that other company who paints everything white.
