  1. This video actually helped me out, umwittingly i was doing exactly what he
is telling us all not to do and i have been fading consistantly every shot.
Golfing 5 days a week for 5 weeks now. First week (using a week club) im
hitting inconsistant but workable hits, after two weeks im starting to roll
my club head over spinning my ball towards the ground, (get a nice new
club) as my iron technique improves i begin to develop a somewhat
consistant fade, NOW i think i know why..

  2. Ben Hogan disagrees. The only thing that got me hitting the drive straight
was having my right elbow “nailed” to my belt at contact. But that might
    not be your problem.

  3. I liked the train passing in the back ground .. As a train spotter I think
It was a 7000 Loco from De Boned

  4. You’re right but I think he’s saying a good swing will follow that proper
line and hit the sweet spot, but if you try to keep the club face square
you will hit a bad shot.

  5. Ok, I spotted the balls in the tray and on the other mat. So where is
yours, Dave? Nice traffic pattern in the background as well. Was there a
    tip somewhere in all this?

  6. I believe Dave Crosby’s advice is the correct way to swing. I am no pro, i
only film them. I can tell you that I have seen hundreds of lessons now and
the swing should be as natural as possible which would mean not trying to
steer the ball. However everyone has a different swing and I am sure that
if we all had to hit a bucket of balls each day before we started work
every one of us would figure out how to get the club face square at impact
    despite any horrendous swing flaws

  7. wow, so you’re gonna go to the range, set up, buy balls and not hit even
one for the video?! lots of help…

  8. I’m a very junior golfer and now I’m confused. I watch a lot of Moe Norman
videos and he advocates keeping his club face square well past the ball. He
claims 22 inches. Who do you believe? Moe wasn’t too shabby as a straight
    hitter.

  9. very nice tips…….i wish it was longer……My shots usually go around
250 average b/c they fade right about 40 yards….. so it would be nice to
hit some straight and get my distance back
