Well you can talk bs about moe and graves golf academy all you want I’ve
used this swing for 5 plus yrs it works im a 3 handicap my club head speed
is 120mph with a driver and its consistent down the middle i hope i run
into you on golf course so i can take your $ I’ll use moe’s swing you use
what ever
What I’m “bashing” is the explosion of Moe Norman’s “friends” suddenly on
YouTube. Considering he was eccentic, even borderline autistic, he sure had
a lot of friends? YouTube is being inundated with people claiming to have
had “special relationships with the likes of Moe Norman, Ben Hogan, etc …
always those no longer with us I might add, and they all promise to share
some sort of “secret” they learned from that “association”. It’s all
getting way to cynical and I’m getting cynical with it.
I agree Larry. I attended The Graves Academy last weekend(which was
excellent!) and personally saw what Todd can do with that ball which is air
mail it just about anywhere he wants to.
Anyone who’s seen this guy hit balls from a down the line view knows that
he can air-mail it straight down the middle again and again and again.
Those that haven’t ought to be able to see the athleticism in his swing
anyway.
@xxcobraboyxx Well the secret may be that there is only one fast move in
the golf swing. When applied through the ball and not in the backswing,
many will increase from the jump. Practice….
I watch this vid before every round
I can hit every shot in the book. Straight, fade, draw, high, low any shape
or any height. This swing can do it all and Moe demonstrated that to me
every day I played with him. You will see this swing on tour and you see it
with Steve Stricker today.
Drive for show, putt for dough.
@xxcobraboyxx Just pounding balls ain’t gonna hack it!! You should try some
of Moe Norman’s technique. You will be amazed. But if you want to continue
to be frustrated, then just go pound balls….I used to do the same thing,
until I finally woke up one day and started trying some of Moe’s stuff. You
don’t have to buy anything just go and experiement.
The fact is that hitting a shit load of balls will do nothing but ingrain
bad technique and train the wrong muscles to fire if you don’t know what
you’re doing! He also would say there’s no secret, except working hard on
correct technique and using video to ensure that you are doing it correctly.
Have you tried this swing? It’s interesting to me how many golfers bash
what is going on with it. Todd Graves worked side by side with Moe Norman.
If you think you can just create a channel and have people pay you for your
interpretation of a swing, I’d love to see it.
Well said fella. I’m getting a little fed up with the explosion of Moe
Norman bs across the web. They all want to cash-in on a sad autistic golfer
who had an OCD to hit and count balls. Sure he was straight … he
practiced obsessively …but he was short too … and he never “recognized”
his misses … of which there were many. Of course, THEY would have you
believe he would aim at a bridge to get over a brook; the biggest bs I’ve
heard yet
I think I’ll create yet another “Moe Norman” Channel on YouTube …. talk
lots of bs about how Moe gave me “special” lessons and “secrets” and claim
to show everyone how to suddenly become a magical ball striker. After all,
every one else seems to be doing it? He was a golfer with many
idiosyncrasies who practiced in an obsessive way. That was his “secret”
You don’t have to do nothing but hit straight shots and make putts to be a
scratch golfer. But scratch is not enough to win all the time, especially
on the tour. I’m sure the swing works but you won’t see it on the PGA tour
because it’s not very versatile. If you want to play on the tour, you have
to be able to have shot versatility and this swing cannot give you that.
You can’t deloft the club or shape your shot with it and that’s just no fun
for me. I’ll pass.
Just like when Sam Snead at the masters said to Moe Norman on the practice
tee “I like what you are doing” such is my reaction to your instruction and
concept utilizing Moe Norman as a model, I caddied for Moe Norman many
times during his visits to British Columbia, and he instructed and
counselled me not only on the technical dynamics on swinging a club, but
also on the important element of “instant concentration and time
compression.”
@xxcobraboyxx Moe can’t be compared to Tiger Woods. EVEN Tiger has said how
phenomenal he was. Moe had 17 hole in ones and 8 of which went straight
into the cup without so much as even bouncing. Moe was autistic and was
kind of like a child and just couldn’t handle the PGA. Likewise the PGA
wasn’t prepared for a talent such as Moe. He returned to Canada and joined
their golf tour and dominated. Tiger wishes he had half the talent Moe had
you should check any video you can find on Moe.
Thats crap. If Todd Graves can put it where he wants he would be earning
millons on tour rather than run a golf school. In competion is nothing like
practice. Moe said it many times. He couldn’t cut it on the pga tour cause
he wasnt long enough. Its on the video that todd graves sells himself.I
love Moe and maybe if he had the right people behind him he could have been
a star but the facts are facts . In 1 1/2 years he only managed a fourth.
The pros are in a leauge of there own.
