Hey Mark, what advice to you have regarding how tightly to squeeze the club
hitting drivers and irons? Whenever I hold the club really loosely I seem
to hit the ball more accurately, which is counter-intuitive considering it
feels like I have no control over the club?
ya drive for show and putt for dough @jason r?
Very Very informative~ I’ve never hit a ball yet but I’ve been watching
your videos to try to learn as much as I can before I spend a dime on this
new potential vice I’m thinking about undertaking (lol) One thing someone
told me was at first, get a used club or borrow someone’s 6 or 7 iron &
just go out & get used to hitting the ball. He said, learn your 6 or 7
iron, learn to swing a pitching wedge, learn to putt. He said the driver
should be the last thing you learn & should be the last club you put in
your bag~ Hopefully for christmas this year I get a used iron & a big bag
of balls & I can get to work swinging. Great videos~!!! ~Jason?
golf can be exstremaley exspive i enjoy playing the game but it can get
costley wich means if your not a member of a golf club it cost from 10 – to
100 dollars just to play a round of golf realy depends on wich course you
chose to play on ?
I went with the DX11s as well and find them very good, the ball gets up
really easily and really forgiving. Might look at a 60 degree lob wedge to
complete the set as pitching around the greens can be a little hit and miss.

I am looking to buy irons this fall. I am debating between the new titleist
712 cb vs. the mizuno (63 or 53) or the next mizuno club. I need them in
lefty so I might wait until 2012 to give mizuno a chance (I like the grain
flow technology and soft feel). I am looking for a compact look 3-pw, a
little forgiveness, but definately a players iron. Please review the 712 cb
vs a similiar mizuno club when possible. Your reviews and launch monitor
stats (launch angle comparison) really help. Thanks.
@4golfonline hey I just got the Callaway Diablo edge irons and i was
wondering if you could do a review on them. appreciate it and love the vids
Hey Mark !! Love your videos they have helped me so much is my golfing
improvement ! i rather the stuff you are telling me than what othe people
are telling me on youtube but my question for you is … how do i get more
consistent with my putting
None of those clubs are for a 25 handicapper, mark….the question was for
him, not you….lol
@prorobo No see where i went i chose to take the 6 iron from each set, and
its weird the same clubs i chose 4golfonline did too
I have the same name as you o_0
IN THE BAG VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love your work, but you need to get some protection for the microphone from
the wind!!!!
That’s some good advice Mark, I hope he chooses thee right clubs for him.
Thanks for the video response Mark. I ended up getting a set of Wilson
Di-11 irons. Steel shaft, standard lie and length. The felt great when I
tested them, gave me good distance with good forgiveness. After a month of
hitting hundreds and hundreds of balls at the range, and 3 rounds of golf,
I shot an 89 in my 4th round! There was definitely some beginners luck in
there, but I’m very happy with my choice of irons. Thanks for the help!
night before this video i went to try the Taylormade MC, Titleist CB and
Mizuno Mp-53, all 6 irons —- weird…
@MiniSnipzProductions All the manufacturers typically send shops 6 irons
for demo use. That’s why you were hitting 6’s. I wish they would use 7’s
instead personally but you can always hit one off the floor if you’re so
inclined.
