I think the real issue is will you feel OK with a putter grip that feel so
different to all the other clubs. Since putter grips were largely like old
style round ones until the D shaped Ping style one came along, the new big
putter grip is the new boy on the block. But – if the bigger putter grip
was such a good idea, do you think it would have taken so long for it to
have come along? Like 100+ years?! I’ve tried a mid sized SuperStroke –
I’m not wholly convinced anything got better at all.?
If you’re tall and the the grip may be too heavy can you lengthen the shaft
to counter balance. I have a 34″ and I want to stand more erect to favour
shoulder turn with 35/35.5″ shaft – is this plausible?
