@quantumcahill Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. I have had
mixed reviews on this project. Comments have ranged from “stupid” to
“useless” and then on the other side of the spectrum people have encouraged
me with emails saying, “love it” and “keep them coming”. There are more
McCabe Minutes to come and I will take all feedback into consideration.
Thanks again for watching.
I found it pretty helpful
Thanks! I’ve seen improvement after I put this technique into effect,
almost immediately.
McCable? Is this guy an electrician? Metal Clad Cable
I thought it was useful, though the noise and interjection of disc selling
could be more subtle.
McCabe is great, but the video was pretty much useless. Skip the ”ultra
cool” graphics and get to some analysis. How about some grip advice and
some slo-mo action. I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but quit trying
to be so cool and hip and focus on the details. ie…show his whole flight
and give the distances and show it in multiple angles.
lol, useless? It was fine, nice production quality. Take what you can-
throw out the rest.
I totally disagree with the criticism! These videos are fun! I think this
style is cutting edge, I’d like to see the other kids of videos/projects
this producer has going. Plus, McCabe is an awesome teacher! I don’t think
I’ve ever heard his tip about keeping the disc in close to the body (which
I just realized I haven’t been doing!)
Animations are funny in a silly kind of way. They will look better as you
keep doing them.
I thought it was great. One of the best drive technique videos I have seen
on youtube. Esp. the x-step slow mo which many videos leave out. and the
point about keeping the disc in close.
