  1. My brother bought one. For game improvement, you get great feedback on
distance and direction. Not to mention, it really is fun to actually feel
like you’re playing a round of golf, it really keeps you hooked. I would
    highly recommend it.

  2. obviously it is not accurate, the angle of climb for the shot was at least
75 degrees, if you look at his shot into the tarp thing, he put the 8 iron
about at a 6 inch climb from about 6 feet, it was not accurate and systems
that cost 50,000 dollars, have spin ratio, smash factor, ball and club
speed, and you get what you pay for. not 400 dollars for a glorified wii

  3. The only issue with the optishot is that launch angle is an estimate. That
is why you have to tell it what club you are using. Of course, no ones
launch angles are the same. That is why you customize the opti to your
lauch angle. I flew to florida for a demo of the “expensive” simulators.
Guess what? The dude spent the whole time not giving us a demo, but
calibrating his freaking simulator. I own an opti and then customized my
own studio. I put a few minutes in setting up the opti

  4. and I couldn’t be happier. Saved myself about $15,000 after I spent about
    $4500 building my own studio.

  5. oh, and one more thing, this is infared light, you cannot play under
lights, a REAL golf simulator, you can play under lights

  6. ok…fanofhoneydew doesn’t know what he is talking about. The Optishot
“requires” light. The most important thing is to have consistent light. No
simulator is plug and play, especially the expensive simulators. You have
to adjust the optishot to your game. Which is no problem The thing to note
is that the opti does club tracking. It takes high speed cameras to do ball
tracking. High speed cameras are about $10,000 a piece. Which guess what,
    cameras have to be adjusted.

  7. what he was saying is the lighting must be consistent because if the
lighting changes it will take a 300 yd drive and turn it into a 350yd
    drive…

  8. Hey Bionic, I’m exploring some options regarding golf simulators. Would you
mind sharing your experience and set up?

  10. I have hit a few simulators before and the distance is all over the place.
I was wondering how accurate is the distance on the Opti shot

  11. I had one but broke the first month 🙁 hit it fat a few times to see if it
did anything sure enough the pad would turn off. this was pretty common
occurrence if you read the reviews on Amazon. That being said i loved it
was very accurate helped me get rid of my drivers slice 😉 n helped shape
my iron shots. I just wish it was more rugged oh and use rubber tees not
those plastic tees broke both the first week. also read hardware
requirement before you buy! I was only able to use the driving range
