Seems like a cool product. Looks like a Tour Lock Opti-Vibe weight to
me…. Mind if we make your copy of our weight? Looks like it works pretty
good. What… you just jam that weight down into the shaft, hope it stays
there and then glue a plastic cap in the hole? Nice?
Pro-Core dampens vibrations that are created at impact which travel up and
down the shaft, this improves your putter performance. We create more face
stability and cleaner feel and feedback to the player allowing greater feel
and control. Our robot tests have proven less dispersion. The best way to
evaluate feel and control is to connect on Twitter @procoregolf. Regular
comment we receive is “I feel more connected to the putter, what’s
happening at the face, giving me great speed & distance control”.
We can’t dictate to outlets, but advise that, most outlets will allow you
to try before you buy. Either they will have two identical putters, one
with one without to test. Alternatively, we promote, you try it in your
putter the one you love and know best. To do this you have to agree to a
hole cut in the top of your grip, which is then plugged after the product
has been assembled. Using this method you can try either the 20g or 50g
option which can be instantly swapped. Most outlets will allow you to try
on the in-store putting area or outside putting green if they have. If you
don’t like product it can be instantly removed, you just have a cap in the
top of the grip.
Please note: The CAP MUST BE GLUED in once your happy, in order to comply
with the rules of golf for competition play.
Golf like all sports is advancing with technology; our goal is to make your
putter more accurate and your game more enjoyable.?
Does work. Use your ears for feedback not feel.?
Hi Rick
Been playing golf for about one season (so still pretty high handicap) and
is looking to invest in a new putter. Would it be worth getting it with Pro
Core or should I putt for some time without this fancy technology to get
more feel??
Warm regards,
Jesper?
You can pretty much achieve the same affect by pushing 10 grammes of
plasticine down the end of your putter shaft! ?
Love the idea
Love the product
Love the company ?
Sorry ! but this is just gobblygook to me. Putting is about feel and not
so much technology.?
Ground breaking stuff RS, interesting, aired before the Golf’s magazines
(this hasn’t been in any I’ve seen to date, unless I just missed it).
Though thought your comment about maybe not being able to tell (eyes closed
or not) exactly where off the face the ball was hit perhaps could be a
problem. In a sense being able to feel in practice a true sweet spot hit
putt against one not quite of the middle can help hone a stroke. Be
interesting to try it on another couple of identical putters (one with one
without), but would be a little nervous of doing anything to my old
favourite (2004) scotty cameron studio stainless 1.5 newport beach the
weight and feel of which I wouldn’t really want to change, unless it just
made a sweet spot connection even better and changed nothing else. Seems a
bit of a gamble though if you have a favourite putter that already works
well.?
Don’t you want to feel when you miss the sweet spot? Don’t you want the
miss to feel different than the pure??
