I agree with Logan. My chipping has improve after I used my 5,7,8,9 iron
and not only my sand wedge. I minimized my error since then. just practice
how to control the distance with each club you use and you’ll be ok.

pitching club was what should be used, never thought to use another club.

Take this advise with caution. The reason why wedges have high pitches is
because you have more control over where on the green the ball stops with a
higher degree chip. Using an iron lowers the pitch, and increases the roll
as the ball lands. More roll = less control over where the ball stops on
the green. Your choice.
