As if I am going to cut a hole in the top of my grip to do this.?
2:24, the stake did hit your side though.?
Good video!?
I am not wearing a belt and therefore have no belt buckle? Am I doomed to
scoop forever? At least I can get a job at burger king flipping burgers:)?
Another little bit of input if I may,,,one of the best tips I ever had
regarding a chip shot was from Jim Thorpe. I had a bad habit of quitting on
my chip shots which led to chunking them ( fat ). He had me working on a
simple drill, if I go back 1 foot go through 1 foot, back 2 feet, through 2
feet etc. etc. Soft hands, weight slightly left and no wrists whatsoever, I
worked on my short game from there and saved myself half a dozen shots each
round. This video is just great and it sure works.
what is the pole he using called?
Great video… Thanks for taking the time to record this.
Yes a very good contribution,,it never fails to amaze me when I’m out
golfing with my friends how many of them will grab a 56 or 60 degree wedge
to chip a shot across the green with no hazard in front of them. I have a
very good short game and that is the reason I maintain my nine handicap, I
practice my short game daily ( I’m retired ) and it pays off. My set up is
exactly as Bobby shows in this video and with no hazard in front of me I
used anything from a 6 iron to a nine iron, no wrists !!
Gary Player says all the best chippers of all time use their wrists.
you didnt scoop because your pivot deluvered the angle. worth mentioning
Best comment I’ve seen in months – thanks for that
