  1. I prefer the pro v1x. Not quite the “bite” around the greens as the prov1
but It comes off the face just a bit faster. I’ve played 330’s, pentas, and
callways….prov1x is the best all around in my opinon.

  2. Hi mark ! So i heard theres going to be a launch on the NEW 2013 Pro-V1 &
Pro-V1x . I would like to see you show us the difference . Rickie Fowler
has tweeted about their ( Titleist ) Prototype already .

  3. Im With you but today I got some ProV1x’s and they really do stop better
    than a ProV1.

  4. Mark, what results did you find in regards to the additional testing you
commented on in the vids. What did you end up playing prov1 or x?

  5. the V1 X has a harder more durable cover that withstands amateur mishits,
its a great ball for winter golf. the V1 never dissapoints but I was told
if you have a swing under 100 mph and you want distance pro v family not
for you. Best ball ever made, the hogan apex. I play Srixon z star now,
couple bucks cheaper then pro- v, i get the distance and man do they dance
on the green. when i played both pro v’s they performed about the same
    around the greens.

  6. ive always used the Pro V 1 the main reason is it feels nicer off the
putter face than the x does and the club u use most is ur putter so i
personally want it to feel the best to give me the most confidence i can
possibly get in a round where it all counts.

  7. I do hit pro v1x a little higher and farther but I get more spin around the
green and putt better with the pro v1

  8. Hi Mark, was wondering if you could compare say a prov or nxt to a standard
range ball just to get an idea of differences eg. ball flight, distance ?

  9. i remember starting to use the pro V1 when they first came on the scene and
everyone was raving about them. i had always up to then used the harder
balata style balls and to be honest i didnt like the pro v1 at all. they
were way to soft off the face in my opinion and i thought they felt like
cheap range balls they were so soft. it was the golf pro who told me to try
the V1x and that it was a much harder ball with a balata type feel to it.
100% correct and as of now i only use the V1x for comps.

  10. Is there any other PGA pro who work’s harder than Mark for all the golfers
out there? I don’t see many others with this many reviews and tips. PGA
people’s pro of the year. And no, I’m not related or a friend of him!

  11. Very interesting. I was under the impression the pro v1x only compressed
properly with high swing speeds, so I’ve never used it, but will give it a
    go now.

  12. Very good! Me and my friends go to the outside rim/line of our local golf
course and find golf balls that got hit out and i found a few of these! 🙂

  13. Im 19 years old 5’6 tall. Im very short but my speed is 105. I strike it
just as hard as the pros. I cant ever use any other ball but the PRO V1 X.
I can do anything with the control Of this ball. Why would anyone NOT play
the V1x….maybe the price is high. Just dont lose your ball(s)….even my
practice balls are all Pro V1’s.

  14. I love these balls!! Only problem is that they cost sooo much. Every time I
loose one I feel like I’ve lost a body part. I feel so bad, whereas the
Srixon soft feel or ad3333333’s arnt so bad especially now they are doing
    the ad’s in orange!

  15. yes, it comes down to what your swing speed is and how you strike the ball.
if you compress it at impact then the pro v1 and pro v1x are a good fit but
the pro v1x is for a 105+ swing speed

  16. Hey Mark. Great reviews as allways. _ How about a video about wich golf
    balls fits different players?
