I’m refraining from disliking this video because I really like your videos,
but you kind of made it sound like you NEED a hybrid and it’s the end all
be all. I like the long irons better because you get more spin (and I have
no problem hitting them, including a 2 iron). If you are trying to hit a
green, especially a hard one/hard pin, you would likely benefit from the
iron. ?
its hard to get any lift with a hybrid
2:23 did that machine just say ‘good one mark’?
Mark, I want to replace my 3 iron with a hybrid, which number hybrid should
I use?
For some crazy reason I hit my 5 wood off the deck better than any other
club I own but I hit my rescue club just as far. Since my drives are so
short,at times I think I could carry my hybrid, sand wedge, and putter and
get the same results I get with twelve clubs in the bag, and one of these
days I’m going to try it.
Hey mark, i have problems with my hybrid when i am in the rough, i try and
do a normal swing like i normally would hit it but the club slows down when
trying to get through the rough and i end up topping it or it goes
somewhere i don’t want it to go what should i do cheers – charlie.
Thx. Good advice
you have a squeaky floor.
@4golfonline which loft would you recommend place these clubs?
The hybrid would make your 3 iron and 5 wood not really have a place in
your bag.
@TreveThomas Depends on the loft of your hybrid. Most 3 hybrid is hits
about 2 iron distance, so it’s slightly longer than a 3 iron and slightly
shorter than a 5W. Unless your swing is as good as most single digit
players, just pick one that’s easiest to hit. Long irons are not scoring
clubs for great majority of golfers.
Your trousers remind me of Charlie Chalk! Sorry Mark.
The best club I have in my bag is an aluminum base ball bat which I use to
beat the caddy. In a pinch, I use it to get faster service at the 19th hole.
i have an 18degree 5-wood and a 3 iron in the bag, would a hybrid make both
of these clubs redundant? also, which degree hybrid would you recommend?
