  1. Think it’s purely personal preference when it comes to golf balls just try
different ones and see what comes out best for you. A pro v1x isn’t going
to be ideal for every single golfer as it’s aimed at the better player.
Someone with a high handicap that slaps it about is going to get nothing
out a high end ball, might aswell use a hard 2 piece ball ?

  2. Nice vid but I have a problem… You can’t test different golf balls by
hitting just one. Also your swing is not going to be identical each time so
it makes the test invalid ?

  3. I go to a course with 1 ball return with about 6, if one of them is in good
nick i use it next time 😛

  4. im friendly with the greenkeeper at a well known course in essex buy what
you can afford ive tried the best supposedly. the margins are tiny i like
titleist nt im mid to low handicap they give me the best bang for my buck
stay away from lake balls there not so good they get out of shape.

  5. This video just made me happy, honest guy, no bullshit, good info and no
huge bias to anyone. Absolute legend thanks Mark 🙂

  6. Try this once. With a straight face tee up a plastic practice ball in front
of a group of golfers that you don’t know at the course. Then proceed to
continue to hit the ball as if you are serious about playing a whole round
of golf with that ball. go ahead…try it. You should see how people react.
Make a video and put it on youtube.

  7. The ball doesn’t mean shit if you’re not a good ball striker! Same goes for
clubs. I play with my dad and his friends a lot. They all have top of the
line new clubs…mine were made in 1985. I consistently beat everyone
because I practice my ass off. Clubs and ball has nothing to do with it.
That being said IF you put in the work and get good at ball striking, new
clubs and a decent ball will be a bit more forgiving and add some distance.
Once I get the money, I’m guna buy some and dominate

  8. I have tried to find a balance between cost, feel, and performance, from a
15 handicap golfer perspective. I like Calaway Hex Chrome, and if I can
find them on sale, Nike 20xi. I have played some of the higher end balls
and like them, but loose too many to afford $40+ a dozen balls.

  9. prov1 or prov1x. cant beat titleist. tried the Nike 20xi balls and it feels
a little bit harder than titleist off longer clubs but it seems like i get
a bit more distance with them. The Nikes feel similar to titleists around
    the green.

  10. Unless your a low handicapper looking for something very specific it is
rarely going to make much difference, same goes for clubs as well really,
other than finding the right shafts. Manufactures just love sticking nice
shiny new things in our faces, we love consuming them and making sure we
are keeping up to date. The best balls are the ones I find when I got
hacking through the bushes, because then when I lose them myself I do not
    care 😀
