  1. +Mark Crossfield Would say the problems you have with the softer ‘part’
shots solely down to the fact of the kind of irons you’ve put in the bag to
give you more forgiveness plus slightly faster face. Think you’d have to go
back to the more ‘better player’ (as they get labelled irons) like say the
Titliest CB’s, Miz MP64’s to have better control over the softer part shots
between distances. It’s the trade off for the extra distance/forgiveness
with the EZ’s. Just spec whichever CB type with a stronger loft & get the
best of both worlds, you can find centre often enough 🙂 Shall watch your
bag with renewed interest, go on change you know you want to ! ;)?

  2. Hi Mark, i don’t know if you have heard of the new gadget on the block.
It’s called Game Golf GPS Digital Tracking System. It’s meant to be the
bees knees and could help people knowing their yardages better and also is
meant to be great for coaches to be able to review students rounds and see
what’s going wrong out on the course. Would be good to see you review it of
    you get the chance.?

  3. One thing I often see is people hitting only the proper club to the
flagsticks on the range. In my practice sessions, I will hit various clubs
to the same target. Not only does this help with distance control, but also
adds to your arsenal of shots.?

  4. Is it just a coincidence that you’ve also gone to GI clubs? Great for
maxing out distance, not quite so great for distance control. Personally
I’d take distance control over distance any day. If there is one flaw in
your on course vids it’s the constant hype around distance. Viewers would
far better have the importance of distance control hammered into them!
Perhaps time for a few rounds using the MP54s for a wee experiment?!
Keep up the good work MC.?

  5. Mark, would you agree that one of the most important things when doing a
1/2 or 3/4 swing is to make sure you follow through normally

    Thanks for the vid Paul
    ?

  6. Great vid Mark, don’t have any probs with gaps in my irons at the mo, nice
10 yard gap between them. The only club & distance i have a prob with is
the 60° lob from 30 yds to 60 yds. My 60° lob goes 75 yds with a full
easy/lazy swing but if i step on it i can eek 90 yds out of it so its those
1/2 & 1/4 swings wit that club i struggle with?

  7. The strange thing for me is I usually take a big cut at it but when I try
to take off some be it pace or a 3/4, I hit it as far as a full on swing. I
take a lazy 3/4 and still hit my pw 140. I’m guessing I hit it more solid
    with a lazy swing. ?

  8. During the winter & under winter rules its not just the air temperature
that’s a factor but also the ground temperature so under winter rules mark
your ball and put it in your pocket until its your turn to hit ! ( your
ball is lying on the cold ground more than it is up in the air!)?
