  1. Today saw the launch of +Titleist’s highly anticipated 915 woods. Here’s
what GM’s Neil Tappin made of the 915 D2 and D3 drivers: Titleist 915
    Driver Review?

  2. What’s the point of mentioning trackman data and then just giving us a
video with your anecdotal ‘thoughts’ and regurgitated marketing language.
You guys can do better than this….. Have some substance, compare the
drivers (913 and 915) and give viewers an honest impartial review,
supported by your supposed trackman data.?

  3. Two new technologically advanced Titleist 915 drivers have been unveiled –
    the 915 D2 and 915 D3.

The new drivers are designed to offer both improved forgiveness and
increased distance through a combination of new technologies.

The Titleist 915 D2 comes in a 460cc head – for those seeking more
forgiveness – while the 915 D3 is slightly smaller (440cc) and aimed at
those who favour slightly more workability.

One of the main advancements in the new Titleist 915 drivers is the
introduction of the Active Recoil Channel.

The channel is wide, deep, long – the brand’s take on a slot-style design –
and positioned to coil and spring for consistent spin and speed across the
    face.

The result is more distance through lower spin and higher ball speeds.
What’s more, filling materials, which can often affect performance, haven’t
    been used.

The Active Recoil Channel also means the centre of gravity of the Titleist
915 drivers has remained low and deep, facilitating a higher moment of
    inertia for increased forgiveness.

Higher MOI is also brought about through a thinner cast crown, a weight
pad, Ti 8-1-1 Light Density Casting and a SFT weight placement in the sole.

Both the 913 D2 and the 913 D3 also boast a new Radial Speed Face, which
boosts forgiveness on off-centre hits through thinner heel and toe sections
    on a forged face insert.
